Cancellation Policy

We respect that time is valuable to all.

Music In Music Therapy has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations that occur 48 hours or more before the scheduled session time can be re-booked at no extra cost to the client or participant. 

Cancellations must be written via email or phone communication to Music In Mind Music Therapy. 

If there is no mutually convenient time for both parties to reschedule, the client or participant will be added to the Music In Mind Music Therapy wait-list.  

Short-notice cancellation, which is after 3pm two days before the appointment, Music In Music Therapy will charge 90% of the agreed price for the cancelled session. 

Music In Mind Music Therapy has the right to immediately cease appointments if any persons in the service setting appear intoxicated or under the influence of illicit substances. The full appointment cost will be invoiced, and Music In Mind Music Therapy will discuss service termination with the client or participant.   

Music In Mind Music Therapy does not issue refunds for cancelled appointments.

Music In Mind Music Therapy is a registered member of the Australian Music Therapy Association, the World Federation of Music Therapy, and an affiliate of the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy and the World Federation of Neurologic Rehabilitation.
